  • Read MOH Lessons 86-87

  • All Students complete the following assignments:
  • Watch: This week’s video is about 45 min. long. It begins with the video about Philip II but the rest of it is different from last week’s video. It is worth watching.
  • Research:
    1. Each student has drawn the name of a person.
    2. Research your person
    3. Make a poster about your person. Your poster can have pictures and/or words that give details about your person.
    4. Write/type a one – two page research paper about your person.
    5. Be prepared to share your poster and research on March 24th
Ancient Literature:

  • Read Chapters 1-4 of The Bronze Bow
  • Prepare to take a quiz on these chapters next week
  • Complete an “Attribute Web” worksheet for Daniel
  • Define the following words: zealot, blasphemy, and Samaritan (You may type out the definitions)
  • Using complete sentences, answer the following questions. Answers may be typed.
    1. What do you think this quote found on page 23 means? “Joel’s eyes met his in a brief salute, and between the two boys something flashed, a wordless exchange that was both a farewell and a beginning.”
    2. What is a mezuzah? What is importance to the Jewish people?
    3. What is the “Shema”? Why is it important to the Jewish people? Do we have access to it? If so, where can it be found? Write/type it out.
    4. Prediction: How do you think Daniel’s care for the slave will benefit him in the long run?
